Fancy a game of coop later or you want to go straight to the A10s? :D

What do you recommend? Póg said you're all on later. I've played the game a bit in vanilla so I know my way around the controls easily enough

Don't judge it on Your first night gaming. It can be completely head wrecking at first, but stick with it and it can be the most epic game ever.

A few tips for anyone trying this out:
    - Get used to using the freelook left and right by using the alt key, or better still, get a trackir
    - When lying prone sniping, lock freelook (doubletap alt) and look around so You move only Your head not Your whole body, enemies won't spot You as easy
    - Grass is not cover, if You can see them, take it that they can see You
    - Map a button on your mouse to 1st/3rd person toggle, You'll use this all the time for situational awareness, You'll spend most of Your time in 1st but fly and drive in 3rd person. Its handy in close quarters to quickly flick to 3rd person to see around a corner
    - K is compas, double tap to keep visible, o is watch, handy for knowing what time it is or whether its time to remove nightvision (you can't focus at first when u remove nv)
    - Right control & m brings up Your gps, this is easier than constantly checking Your map and compas,
    - Shift click on the map drops a marker only You can see, handy for navigating but even better as a rangefinder, it gives a reading of the distance from You.
    - Learn how the scopes work, I've often had to google the weapon or scopes to find out what its range is. Some scopes have little markers that you can judge the distance by the height an ai stands between two markers. Have a read of this, lots of info on the weapons and scopes: http://www.mediafire.com/?zmy2zm3qkmm
    - Thermal imaging (n) has 2 modes, black hot and white hot, toggle them
    - Numpad 0 gives first person in mounted guns, numpad + and - zooms

Go through the sticky at the top, lots of info there:

Drunkination isnt a great mission to get used to the game with, having all the toys completley removes the need for teamwork and attacking plans. Its our special friday night mission when we couldnt be arsed fixing wrecks or doing side missions to get toys.

Best to start with some Coop missions then Domination or Evo ranked versions.

Well I enjoyed last nights domination server. Not fully together as a team, but then again its hard to do so when theres only about 5/6 of us.

Mumble was interesting, i.e very different to other games I've played with Teamspeak. Hardly a word would be sounded until we got to the nitty gritty objectives in the town (picking out the last remnants of resistance). Only died 4 times so was happy out, considering I was tk'ed twice

Anyways, might be back on tonight :)

considering I was tk'ed twice

    Wait till max plays :pac:

That version of domination has no team work needed at all, theres 2 A10s 2 F35s 2 harriers and 2 Apaches from the beginning.

Normally we have 1 pilot, 1 medic 1 engineer and they are the only ones who can fly/heal/fix.
