Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Google is your friend. Take your pick:

Amaya is second on the list and has done the trick for me in the past.

The word processor part of Open Office allows you to save the document you create as a HTML file. That might be your first option.

Another option might be Kompozer http://kompozer.net/
I think its available for windows too (but I only have linux so I'm not 100% sure).
This tutorial might help with it http://www.thesitewizard.com/gettingstarted/kompozer-tutorial-1.shtml

You know, for a simple page or two HTML is not that difficult! Then all you need is a little knowledge and a simple editor!

Finally, I don't know who, what or where you are being hosted but many hosters provide content management tools like Joomla - which can be a little more complex in that they are a complete new program to learn, but once installed & using templates you can make a nice(r) site, where writing articles and adding images requires no html knowledge. It can be a bit tricker to setup but IF your hosting company provided such tools (and many do) this might be the easiest root to a better website. This tutorial should give you an idea of what joomla can do http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/complete-beginners-guide-joomla-pdf/ - though the web will be full of many more tutorials & articles!

Whichever route take ... good luck with the new site.

you could use something like wordpress very very easy to setup

    or joomla

with the both of these you dont need to install any software on your pc to create or edit a website its all done through your own site so can be done from any computer anywhere in the world

Komposer is on the basic and easy manage side of things.
Amaya was just too much for me as I only needed something simple and quick & easy to get to grips with for a very very basic few pages.

Of course there is now google sites with lots of templates available ...

There is one called Blue Griffon, it's a fork of Kompozer, and is very user-friendly
