Hi does anyone know of a place that I could have the unlocking mechanism of a back seat in a vw golf replaced. The one in the car has broken and I have to use a screw driver to release it. Pain in the arse when I'm moving something.

    Thanks

It's a custom beige seat unfortunately. Id imagine it would be hard to find a replacement seat. It's a 2006 vw golf 1.9 TDI

I might call in to a dealer in the new year. Gonna be hella expensive I'd say...

the mechanisms are cheap and labour to fit it will be well under an hour id imagine.

rather have vw do it with professional care than have some back street garage butcher my custom seats.
