What to do for shower, with no water?

So what are folks under water cuts/reductions doing? [with regard to showering].

I went for a shower after my run yesterday morning, and afterwards I had no hot or cold water for the rest of the day. My water had been off all day, and I did not know. So by using the water in the morning for a few things, I emptied my tank in attic.

Is starting and ending your run at the gym a runner, will the gym people flip out or anything?

During the last batch of water shortages they never had issues, so have paid the right person/have their own supply or something.

I'd go for a swim in the sea, but the beach has lost it's Blue Flag!

If you have a gym membership then I wouldn't care if I was you.

The other option is to shower somewhere else like your work if they have a shower?

If all else fails - baby wipes.

I don't understand why they think switching it off for 18 hours is viable. I had a shower after my run last night with what was in the tank, was still enough to last 4 adults till this morning.

I drive to gym (Carlisle) in my gear, put bag in locker, and go out for my run, they haven't objected.
There was no drinking water available though (as that is from mains).

Last night I had to make do with sponging down with some bottled water. I got a proper shower this morning when the water finally deigned to come back

I forgot the upside of working for a big evil US corporation is that we have brilliant facilities onsite!

So came in early this morning, and used the small gym upstairs for a while and then had a nice long shower!

There are a whole load of works right outside my apartment block, so we have very sketchy water 24/7 - and its prolly just local to us as they do their work.

Have been making do with quick cold water spongedowns, and showering when the water eventually comes back. It won't be back today till after 2 p.m. and I've just come back from 4 miles - if you're near Griffith Ave, stay downwind, I stink ;)
