As per title, I'm curious what is the lightest .308 hunting round people have used, or even seen to be honest. Lightest I can seem to find on Irish websites is 150gr.
But I'm seeing 125gr and even 110gr on US sites.

I'm not sure here but those may be just the heads and not ammo.

They reload in the states so many more options are available to them.

Yeah, it seems very common as a handload.
But I've also come across factory loads. Admittedly, most of them are self defense rated, but might that be any good for fox/deer? Not promoting them, as I obviously don't know anything about they're make up, just curious. Also, being labelled "Self Defence", we'll NEVER see them here....
Also came across an interesting Remington round though, Managed Recoil.

And in all the other EU states as well! Alone we stand with regard to not allowing reloading.

125 grain HPS are a good round for flat trajectory and a lot of damage to intended target.

    E-Mail sam@intershoot.co.uk

And make sure you get his Mrs to make some Cake for you

Looking back through Sam's HPS threads, I saw he was also selling 110gr's.
Don't suppose you tried those too Tack?
