Stopcock on or off?

    Hey,

    Our waters still gone and im wondering if while i was messing woth the outdoor stopcock i might have turned it off?
    is there anyway to tell?
    and is it like a tap that it only twists so far??

    Depends what kind it is, some are like a tap, some you just turn through 90 degrees (either direction) for on/off.

    If it keeps turning it's more than likely the 2nd type I mentioned. If there's no indication of the direction of flow, try it in different positions.
    If this doesn't work, the problem may be elsewhere.

    Post a pic of the valve you are referring to, but a couple of turn anti clockwise should do it.
