another itunes/iphone question help needed!

    Got my laptop repaired and lost all my itunes library. 2 questions, how do I get my music from my Iphone on to my itunes on my laptop? Also I have a few new music files on my itunes and would like to get them on to my iphone. The problem is when I go to music<sync< it tells me it will replace the music on my iphone with the new files on my itunes.

    Im assuming you dont have your phone jailbroken and arent really looking at this as an option to get your tunes back. ( If you are see the previous posters link)

    You will have to get an application to extract the music from your iphone, there is no nice easy way that I know of for doing this for free.

    Check out download.com they may have trial versions but I think you will have to pay to do any bulk transfers.

    I think one i used previosuly was called tuneaid (could be mistaken) bt that was nice clean tool for getting the medai back form peoples stranded devices.

    Anyway once you have gotten your media back you will have to sync your phone with your laptop again; this will clear all media on the device but will now allow you to add media from your laptop again. Only do this when your happy you have gotten back what you wanted from your iPhone, as all media will be deleted.

    This is one of the reasons for storing all your media on an external hard drive, now might be agood time to invest in one they are relatively cheap and it stops the whole single point of failure if you lose, break or change your laptop.

    Your right my phone isn't jailbroken, so aftyer a quick google I used this site http://www.iphone-without-itunes.com/transfer-iphone-itunes.php and it worked very fast and easy too.
