Major Raw Superstar injuried at House Show...

Being reported all over the place. Didn't see any other thread about it, but it's big if it's true <_<

- A fan in attendance at tonight's RAW live event in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania sends word that he and several others were under the impression that John Cena may have been injured.

Cena faced a returning Wade Barrett and according to the report, may have injured his knee after taking a bad bump from Barrett's Wasteland finisher. We hope to have an update on Cena soon.

Several WZ readers have sent in the following update to an earlier story posted by WZ's Steve Carrier:

Sent from 570: "I was at a wwe raw house show tonight in Wilkes-Barre, PA. In the main event cena vs barret in a cage. Cena jumped from the cage and tweeked his leg."

Sent from Dave: "Just thought I would let you know John Cena got hurt tonight in the house show in Wilkes Barre PA. He and Wade Barrett were in a cage match and Cena seemed to have had a leg injury while being slammed down by Barrett. Barrett went to the cage to escape and was over the top before Cena limped over and grabbed his leg. Barrett came back into the ring and you could tell Cena was injured, conversation between the two was audible and the ref called for the trainers. Cena then gave a weak submission move and won. After the match Cena got the microphone and said " sorry about tonight, I seemed to not have it all, if I dont wrestle for a long time after tonite I sure as hell ain't getting carried out of this ring" he then wished everyone a happy new year and started his 10 minute limp out of the ring and back to the locker room."

If he's going to be out due to medicals a Punk lead Nexus beat down of Cena (filmed and shown the screens only) would be the route I'd take. It's boring but would help keep the feud alive at least.

He should make his return dressed in a black trench coat and hang around in the rafters.

One of the reports around John Cena's injury is saying that he suffered a deep bruise and the injury is not as serious as first feared. There is no official word from WWE on this yet.

Last night in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., John Cena suffered a hip injury. His return to action will be evaluated on a day to day basis.

Disaster if he ends up having to take time off. It will probably lead to Hunter returning to the title picture for Mania and I was hoping that wouldn't happen this year.

would have love to see CM "sucks" (well done there john. massive funnies all round) in an individual fued with cena. but **** it "cm punk cant sell on his own" so they brought in shitux to sell for him... like they have done the past 6 months (rotunda was slitghtly hit with a chair at TLC and that was him "out").

punk - cena at mania would be a DREAM for almost all fans. mr internet vs mr kids. amazing. viewing figures = brilliant. " i dislike HULKACENA but him vs punk would be sweet. DEPTH and IMAGINATION. dear jesus lets not make it interesting! anything but! lets just have orton fall-stunner some lads....

Why am I thinking that Edge did last time he got injuried? IIRC, he grabbed a mic when he was being carried backstage and gave a quick apology.
