    TL;DR

I suggest Maynooth. If not, then a library is your friend. :)

    Maynooth is closed?

Cripes. I know it's not the best place in the world, but closing it is a bit extreme.

The reading room in the Arts block in Maynooth is open every day of the year except Christmas. Head there, wrap up warm though, it was freezing last year.

The Arts block in Maynooth is more likely to smell of desperation.

i've known quite a few folk from outside the arts who are fine human beings and then i have found others from within the arts who are and were absolute morons,i believe its more the lifestyle and belief of arts students in ireland who think that everything just falls into place without any shoving or working.Once they find something in a poem or picture and be inspired, they'll be living the life of renaissance artists or andy warhol but realistically the best they can be is teachers, idiot teachers at that.i went away from the point a little bit there didn't I?

Why are you giving these morons hope, there's nothing worst than hearing an arts student say they're gonna be a teacher earning 30k a year and get like 5 months holiday, the law should wave the 1990 violance act so that you can punch one right in the mouth while they're speaking

    Public Library in the Ilac.

Or, top floor of Cineworld, there are some seats beside the window, you could just study there and people will just think you're waiting for a movie.

Failing that, pee in public .. spend the day in the cells :)
