I have not used them for a rifle, always preferring to buy within the State.

In the half dozen or so transactions with them, I have had no problems at all.

If you go ahead with your transaction try and get them to use USPS registered post instead of a courier company. I found USPS to be a better service.

Ask you local airsoft retailers if they can source the rifle for you. It takes a lot of the pain and worry out of the process and usually does not cost a lot extra when you include the Customs chargers and VAT.

Good luck with your purchase however you choose to proceed

Bought parts off them before, very good to deal with I found. I screwed up the order and emailed them, they always got back to me within 24hrs and sorted the lot.

I wouldnt buy any RIF from abroad though, your better off ask the guys at eirsoft to order it for ya. They will take care of it for a small cut of the price but its well worth it, they havent done me wrong yet and if a small cut off the top is the price of not having to worry about the RIF being over 1j or having to deal with customs then its the best value service I will use all year - period.

Evike are an American company, which means that any RIF (Replica Imitation Firearm) will comply with their domestic laws i.e. Blaze Orange tip and no trades.

Also, when ordering from a retailer in the US, the price will usually be a little higher than ordering direct from Asia, and you'll still have to pay customs for VAT and import duty.

I'd recommend checking with the Irish retailers; they may have what you're looking for, and if not, they may be able to get it for you. You never know, it could even be cheaper :)

@Dogwatch the OP will need to use a courier to get a 'RIF' into the country as post will (airmail, ems, etc) all go through Heathrow (GLS have the airmail contract for Ireland if I remember correctly) and it'll more that likely get sent back to Evike. I believe there is some pan European Directive banning RIF's in the post. If you have a search on here you'll find a few threads on the topic.

As for importing in general as has been said above check if an Irish shop can get it or just order from HK. Shipping from the USA is usually a tad expensive, not to mention slow.
