    Hi guys
Maybe someone has had the same experience.
I have enabled upnp, my ps3 can connect to the internet through my router.
My PC is wired into my router, but the PS3 is on the wireless network.
Both have their mac addresses allowed by the router.

I've gone to >network sharing center>Change Advanced sharing settings and enabled all the settings.

In >network sharing center>Change Advanced sharing settings>Media streaming options I have selected All networks but my PS3 is not showing up.

I have turned off the firewall.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Cheers

I know that you are working with a PS3, and the thread is about an xbox, but if the source of the issue is as I suspect, then it doesn't make a difference what you connect on the different networks.

Thanks a lot for the reply, appreciate it! at least now I can stop trying router configs etc.

Make sure the streaming is turned on in the Ps3 as well.

It is, to be fair I think the linked thread hits it on the head. it's the wired PC that cannot see an unknown device which would support the idea that the wired components cannot see wireless components.
