I have decided to start up a new thread quering wether the above programme was broadcast over these days. "Wild Journeys" was shot in High Definition. RTE 2 on the DTT Saorview broadcast in a HD format. I have recorded and played back this programme. Although the video quality was very good I judged that it was not quite HD quality. Did this programme suffered slighty from being downscaled and reupscaled in the broadcasting process. It is said that RTE is yet to install HD video playback equipment. Where was the HD progammes played from during the rolling HD trial between September and November this year? Has RTE2 yet to show any content especially in live sport in HD yet? Thank you.
