    Having that much memory on a card helps (afaik) with textures and what not when you games at high resolutions - the problem here is that the processing unit on this particular card would not be able for those high resolutions so you will never see the benefit of it.

    They stick in 2GB of memory on as a marketing ploy, which worked as you came here thinking you had found a bargain. Dont worry, most fall for it, at least you didnt go off an buy it straight away :pac:

    These crappy cards will sell like hotcakes, because 90% of buyers think that higher memory = faster performance.

    I'm sure these will be a feature of many "ULtimate gaming PC"s on ebay with their MASSIVE UNRIVALLED TWO GIGABYTES OF MEMORY.
