Mitsubishi colt 99 wont start

    Hi Guys,

    my car was starting fine in the snow and freezing weather lately but the day the thaw came my car wont start. it has not been driving much since i bought it 3 weeks ago.

    there is half a tank of petrol in it and i had jump leads on it today.. would the sparks be wet ?

    any advice is welcome .

    Without jump leads how does it sound when you try and start it ? Also with jump leads how does it sound when you try to start it.

    i just want to get any advice before i get a mechanic.
    sounds the same with and without jump leads

    Doesn't seem to be the battery so. Either fuel or spark is not adequate, could be anything from a blocked fuel filter, failed fuel pump to a failed lead or distributor, job for a mechanic or someone so inclined :)

    Hi , I have a lancer and the guage reads half full when the tank is empty.If you havn't put petrol in its worth trying a gallon

    i put 20 euro into it and only drove about 15 miles and theres no leakage ......

    hope its something minor .
