Our walls are Tape and Jointed and have 1-2 layers of wallpaper on them, normal size box room and a double aprox 3x3m + 2.5x3m

In dundrum and would like them stipped and lined and ready to paint.

    Hi

Are you a complete banker. Hire a stripping machine(steamer), 30 euro a day at the most, hire someone to do it, at least 90 euro per day, if you wont do it yourself. If you dont do it yourself you are not living in the real world you tosser.

Your posts will need to be a bit more civil than that. Referring to someone as a "tosser" is not acceptable on this forum or anywhere on Boards.ie

    2 weeks ban imposed.

    Best to just ignore it.

The job you want done is a small one so it will cost a little more for a decorator to do over and above if it were part of an entire house they were doing. The whole job shouldn't cost any more than €250 all in, but you would also probably get a very very good rate to paint both rooms as well.

As Poor Uncle Tom said its best that you just ignore the comment now as P3t3roc has been given a 2 week ban for his efforts.

We tend to leave comments like this in place as an example of what is and is not acceptable behavior on the forum. Rest assured that people like yourself posting here will be treated with respect.

€250 seems a bit cheap to me your better off getting someone out to look at the job because wall paper striping is impossible to judge unless you see it and even then its all guess work was to how long it will take to strip.
