Hi ! I am thinking of applying for a creative writing MA/MPhil in TCD or UCD but need a bit more info, especially re TCD. I have to keep up my part-time work and need to know if it could work around teaching times. UCD has set times, but TCD doesn't say. I would be worried about the possibility of seminars etc being moved at very short notice. Can you help? Also, any general info about the value of either course, please?

Have you emailed Lilian Foley at the Oscar Wilde centre for the TCD timetable? I can't imagine why seminars would be moved around at short notice (it doesn't happen with any of the other English masters degrees at TCD) but it's very possible that they can't guarantee that this year's timetable will stay the same for next year, or that they'll have next year's timetable ready in time for you to make a decision based on it.
