Didnt think much of the HMV sale this year. Complete Prison Break for €50 was a good deal tho...nothing else jumped out at me but i was hungover while browsing :eek:

Great price but about the only thing they have at a decent price at the moment. Indeed the major it of things seem to have increased in price since pre Christmas.

I went in yesterday to buy Alien anthology on blu Ray for €35 as it had been just before Christmas and it had shot back up to €50!

Of course it's their prerogative but it seemsma strange tactic.

Was in Blanchardstown yesterday and I got it for 35. Was in Grafton st today and it was 50 and there seemed a few more higher priced than in Blanch. Maybe worth having a look

I Know they are fond of changing prices regularly , it doesnt make sense to raise prices after xmas. and they always have various prices on the same goods in different branches , under business law isnt a chain store supposed to have the same prices on every product ? I would exploit them over that if thats the case. Ocasionally the Grafton st branch is cheaper than the Henry st one in my opinion. If anyone else is looking for the alien boxset on blu ray its pretty cheap on amazon.co.uk

They run these kind of offers for a week or so then it goes back up, Inception box set was 29.99 for the first week nows its 35.

Still the sale is pretty bad i couldnt find one game or Blu-ray marked down in the store.

Yeah as it happens I had to bring the Mrs over to Blanch today and I picked it up there for €35. Delighted to still find it at that price. I originally went into the pavilions in Swords to pick it up and that's where it had gone back up to €50.

It's bizarre that they can have such huge variations in price their different branches.

This is an amazing film and a steal at that price.
