A Puch Alpine touring frame, circa late 70's/early 80's, converted to a fixie, with:

xero track wheelset with white walls
    campagnolo veloce chainset
    cinelli flopped and chopped bars
    puch stem
    giant white saddle and
    shimano m424 spd pedals
    continental gatorskins, 23mm

Pedals can be changed to flats or cages if required. Also currently on the bike is a matching Puch rear rack.

Frame size is approx 57cm, although has a shorter top tube than modern road bikes, and a longer wheelbase due to longer travel and raked fork, meaning that it is a very stable bike.

    Looking for €360

Nice to see your continuing the spirit on which you recieved the frame, fair play to ya. They must be very expensive wheels !.

p.s. - I gave the op that frame (and 'rear rack',stem & BB) for nothing, which is just about what it's worth. Now I don't mind any fella trying to make a buck or two but ffs don't try to rip off the same board you got the frame from ! Bad form.

This is way too expensive even by crazy gumtree/adverts prices!

I really appreciated the frame, thanks again redmaxi. They are a nice set of wheels, actually. The bb that was on the bike was unusable, and was replaced with a brand new one, as was the headset. A decent amount of work was done to the bike, and nice parts fitted throughout, and if you don't agree with the price, fair enough, but it's simply there as a guideline.

Apologies to redmaxi if he feels offended by what's on offer, he was sound to part with the frame when he did and how he did. He was a proper gent, and again, I really appreciated what he did.

For those who are interested, offer what you think it's worth, I'm happy to discuss it.

be a bit realistic about your price... i presume you were expecting offers but €450 is just silly. i'd still be hesitant at half of that.

I'm sorry, but this really makes me angry! This is about as low end a vintage steel frame as you're likely to find on a site like this! It also comes with pretty crappy parts!! Why?? you're other adverts seem pretty reasonable! Why do this??? Below is a similar frame for almost 5 times less, plus it looks to be in WAY better condition.

    This is just mental!!!!!!

Price adjusted. I'm not out to rip anybody off, and I'm really sorry if anybody, especially redmaxi, feels otherwise. While I appreciate the comments, I think you're wrong in saying "pretty crappy parts". The wheels are nice, and after a hub service and a trueing have been spot on, the chainset is a decent spec and everything has been put together well. Compared to a Bowery, it's a far nicer bike, much more comfortable ride.

^^^^^^ okay, probably over exaggerating because i thought it was too expensive. Wheels are much better than my own ;)
