Income/Health Levy Recalculation Eer obligation?

I am in the process of doing my final pay period with Micropay and have a quick question. There is an update which allows me to refund any overpayment of the income/health levy but my question is, if the employee has no timesheet for the final pay period do I still tick the box and recalculate their Levies or do I ignore…

I am in the process of doing my final pay period with Micropay and have a quick question. I have recalculated for all employees that have a timesheet but just wondering am I under obligation to do this for all employees?

See paragraph 4.30 of this document

If an employee was in your employment for the entire year, the employer can make a refund. Otherwise it's up to the employee to contatc Revenue for a possible refund. There is a refund claim form for employees available here and general information about the refund claim process for employees available here.
