    Hello there ,

I recently decided to put a crane stock on my m4 and before i do I have a question.

When I re-wire the gearbox , the battery connector will pertrude from the gearbox , lower than the stock tube so it wont be able to go through the tube but rather sit under it and the I wont be able to put the crane stock on.
This is very confusing to me and i dont understand how the rear wire can actually reach the stock tube and go straight through.
If you dont know what Im on about ill try draw a little sketch for ya.mechbox.jpg

you will probably need to modify the reciever first to allow room for the wiring to get to stock tube first if its not alreasdy suitable. Then the same with the stock tube and inner retaing plate,Something like a dremel tool will do the job nicely.Alternatively you could get a stock tube on line.Hope this helps.

Yeah thanks man , I see what ya mean . Might just opt for the full stock , less hassle , but the crane stock has more mobility . Ill have to think this one through. . . . . .
