Personally I use a Mackie SRM 450 speaker with a small Yamaha mixer. The speaker is 18kg, compared to the Roland amp weighing 44kg.

This works out a lot handier for transport to gigs etc., and the sound quality is great for me. Even with a padded trolley bag for the Mackie it works out at over €100 less an an alternative.
