Google search results redirected

I do search on google, get the results and am then redirected to a dodgy random website. Host file contained a load of crap addresses, removed them and still have problems. Ran a few spyware programs including hijack this, made no difference. Any ideas?

Start here and work your way though the steps until you have any information on what specific virus/malware infection is on the machine.
