''special'' tyres ??

hi, i have a trajet 7 seater, that will soon need tyres, is it true that 7 seaters need so called ''special'' tyres ?,a few people have said this to me, i didnt know that a 7 seater could not use ''normal'' tyres .
please enlighten this ignorant person ( me )

they prob just mean commercial tyres I have to get them for my van as do most weight bearing vehicles they are just reinforced to take the extra weight, I paid 50 euro a tyre at my local garage in mayo (normal car tyres are 45 euro) hope this helps

I'd worry about the safety of a Trajet tyre that only cost €78 new. Your handbook will tell you exactly what tyres you need, so you can shop around for the best price for the quality you want.

your tyre will have a weight rating on it, called a load index, 91w or 94w etc.
