parents were nice to me and added to my stable of stringed and fretted instruments.

i've gotten battle of evermore and a few rem numbers down on the mandolin.
i've gotten "something" by the beatles and over the rainbow down on the uke.

recommend me some fun songs to noodle around with so i can get more comfy with them!

Just learn the chord shapes on them and you can play any song really on them. That's what I did, they are both really fun instruments to mess around on but I'm not mad on the mandolin.
