    Hi,
I seem to have this virus and from information online its a relatively new virus that creates fake popup's and a false defragger..and tries to get users to buy a virus remover.

Anyhow, there is lots of info online and they recommend doing a manual removal which I have done. I have removed the executables and in 'regedit' the advise is to remove the .exe files. I removed two but wasn't sure about these..(see attached)

What I would like to know...(from anyone in the know) is if I need to remove all the files in this 'run' directory?? dont want to do any damage.

    Thanks in advance.

I don't know what link you're following but manual removal sounds more complicated than it needs to be. Try these instructions instead. What they do is kill the process first and then remove it.

Manual removal is not so hard to follow. You just need to be very careful but everyone can manage it. You are able to try to use manual removal guide of HDD Low. There are also a family of these rogues, so if you someday will find a similar name it is a big possibility that it is another defragmenter clone.
