Empty Eyeshadow Palette

Hello lovely ladies,

I'm looking for empty shadow palettes so that I can put my de-potted MAC shadows in. I'm a bit on the poor side so I don't want to buy the MAC palette itself. Just wondering if anybody has bought (and where from) any other type of palette?

The Unii Palettes look amazing and pretty I've had my eye on them for awhile and really think about trying them.


The pan is magnetized so your makeup stays in place.

Thanks guys. I went for the ELF palette -couldn't really argue with the €2 price tag! I'm def going to think more about the Unii and Z palette, and try to find an European supplier. I don't want to have to pay customs on them!

I have one of the Unii palettes and wasn't charged customs. I think they may have even marked it as a gift, but I can't remember.

I love it - it's very sturdy for travelling.

Makeup forever also do a large metal palette which holds 24 MUF shadows (they are much larger than Mac eyeshadows so should hold loads of them). I don't know how much it is here, but they stock it in Arnotts. Here is a link to it on a UK website:

I've also heard of people making their own from empty cd cases and putting a magnetised sheet in the bottom. I don't think it would be very sturdy though.
