I have already signed up for 6 races between now and May, admittedly two of them are rescheduled from November & December due to bad weather. They range from 5k to marathon. Anyone else daft like me??!

I've only 2 races (Barcelona marathon and Connemara - either half or full) planned for the first half of 2011, but there will probably be more added. We'll see.

It's just so easy now to enter races online, when I started running in the early 90's, we had to get a newspaper, complete entry form and post it off with a cheque! How times have changed!

    I've 5 races in Jan!
Will move down to one mid-week session and move my longish runs to Weds.

I've only signed up for one (the Kildare half marathon), but I'm hoping to do lots of 5ks and 10ks (particularly the mini marathon in June), and another half marathon sometime in the second half of the year. It all depends on how this running lark goes if I'm honest :pac:

Might do the Adidas Race series in the summer 5 mile, 10 mile and half, not sure yet. I guess it might be better to do some shorter races before then but I'm not sure of any good ones to do around Dublin between now and then.

I had a look at the Run Ireland website and didn't see anything that tickled my fancy tbh.

Raheny 5 (mile) at the end of January, MSB St Patricks Day 5k, Sportsworld 5 mile in May... you could also do the Great Ireland Run in April if you want to try a mass participation race (over 10k runners compared to under a 1000 in the others)
