    A huge part of the problem is the increased impact in modern day tackling. Teams practice a lot less with full contact sessions these days so in game tackling is worse in general from a technique standpoint. Of course injuries are in the media forefront a hell of a lot more than they were in times past. A concussion would rule you out for a few plays back in the day.

    Yeah good piece. The 49er in the picture is putting his own spine in a lot of jeopardy. The other thing about tackling though is a lot of DBs don't really bother anymore because of Deion Sanders "making a business decision" nonsense
