Whose dropped the price of 3D flat screen TV's in the sales?

I saw the Sony 40" LED flat screen 3D TV dropped from e1800 to e1500 at a Sony CTR but the compromise is the loss of its 5 year warranty

Has anyone else noticed the price of other brands drop?

I won't get one until they come within reasonable reach. :)

I wouldn't get one anyway to be honest.

They dropped the price on the KDL-40HX803 from 1699 to 1299 but there is no 3D package and Vat back. So all in it came to 1400euro (up to Christmas eve)

They had two packages , one was the 3D package with 5 films, glasses etc and they other one was a PS3 120gig with GT5 and 2 pairs of glasses...Plus also you got the 5 year warranty.

I was going to go for it myself but said I'll wait till the sales....Sickner...

Maybe wait until post sales when the hype dies down.

Well time will tell. The only reason I was going for this also was the 30ms when using FPS on the PS3....

Pre Christmas, the panasonic 42GT20 was down to 1399 in most places.

Post Christmas, it was marked as the same price 'on sale' in most places. Only place having it knocked down since was Harvey Norman with 10% lobbed off, who also had a Samsung 40C750 for 999.

Waiting for a price drop myself.

I also noticed these decreases, but without the bundles.

Harvey Norman in Waterford has the 42GT20 for 994 which is good. But it's not bundled with anything. Tv only.
