    Hey Folks

my family home is in a remoteish part of kerry and i want to get mobile broadband for when i'm home for a few days every now and then. basically i am wondering if i can go the the vodafone, three, etc shops and ask for a lend of a mobile dongle this to try it out for a day to see which service provider has the best speeds, ping, reception in my area.

anyone know if this is possible or what happens with it?

I recently got a lend of an O2 dongle for 3 days.

You need to supply them with a passport or driving licence plus a utility bill to prove your address, and €75 as a deposit, which you get back when you return the dongle.

    Hope this helps.
