Trowbridge driver lost for three days

A Wiltshire grandfather spent three days trying to find his way home from Gatwick Airport after becoming disorientated in snowy conditions.
Moroccan-born Mohammed Bellazrak's family reported him missing after he failed to return to Trowbridge after dropping his wife off for a flight.
Police in Oxfordshire eventually flagged down the 72-year-old after his car triggered a camera in Oxford.
They found he had spent from 23 - 25 December driving, trying to get back.
Maybe his wife told him to "get lost!" after dropping her off. ;)

I've taken a few "scenic routes" in the past but never more than an hour or so.

What's the longest you've been lost?

And on this 2 day excursion he didn't need petrol?? And it didn't occur to him to ask for directions??

Nine hours lost on foot in Edinburgh.

One of the best days of my life. I love getting lost. :) So much to explore!

Men don't ask for directions, it's our unwritten rule.

A day walking around in New York. Once the grided streets disappear its easy to get lost.

Can you blame a man for needing a few days break from a nagging wife?

English slang for "go away" (& don't come back).
