I just met a lad there from the County Council. A lot of the mains are thawing but some people have damaged stopcocks outside their houses causing water to leak hence bringing down the pressure. They are running around repairing them. They have water turned off in different housing estates so that they can repair them. Water can be seen coming up from these damaged stopcocks.
I would imagine City Council would be at the same work.
