syncing ipod touch problems

    Got my son a new ipod touch. When i sync apps from my computer , they appear to be on the ipod in itunes , but don't show up on the actual ipod. i have the latest itunes etc. anyone any ideas?

    Does it show a pic of the iPod with the apps on it
    Are ya sure they are not on different pages. Swipe the screen from right to left to check, ya should see little dots under all the app icons
    The number of dots is the number of pages with apps

    Only one page on the ipod. shows 3 in i-tunes. i have an iphone so i'm used to the way these things work

    Restored it & started again. a lot of work but it works fine now:)
