I don't have this App, but it sounds quite interesting.

    Has anyone here tried it?

I recently upgraded to an iphone 4, but I don't like the idea of any app that wants to know your location! :D *Paranoid much!* - If you do try it, I'd be interested to know how it goes.

Costs money, I'd rather just pin point photos on a map.

free apps for the win! :D

Though, I did splurge on Angry birds for 79c ...

    How much is this one?

And semi-on topic, any photo-apps I should look for? I got camera+ with the supposed Image stabilizer, but all it does is basically not take the picture until you are steady

Well that's angry birds, it's acceptable!

    And, Photoshop Express!

I really don't use my iPhone for photography, Flickr app is handy too, for browsing/commenting.

I wouldn't use it for the cam much either, though it is the best I've had camera-wise on a phone. It'll be handy for those times I happen to be without the dslr [Rarely]

Nice idea. I used to use geotags quite a bit when hiking. I would take a series of photos, each acting as a waypoint on my hike. I'd upload them to flickr, and then used my simple webapp to measure the distance I had hiked

    I think it's $1.99 .... IIRC

I'd be very interested in that, but would it destroy your battery?

If you opened it to geo-tag and then properly closed it, then you shouldn't notice a huge difference in battery life.

Just got the light version of geotag to try. Brought my point & shoot this morning & took about 30 shots around town.

Synced the app & swept my photos & it has them all to within a couple of feet. Pretty impressed. Might just splurge for the full version.

Photoshop Express is a great app and it's free.

On the rare occasions that I want to map where I'm shooting I just take a couple of shots of the scene with my iPhone (which tags automatically) and then use the map info from it later in post.

If you use Aperture (or iPhoto) and location info. is something you really want to have then I reckon it's worth taking a chance and buying it, at €2.39 it won't break the bank.
