    Will a Sak Mod fitted on a .22lr work on a .17hmr, or is there a sak model for a .17

    Fairly sure they are one and the same, but the results shall be entirely different for .17 versus .22 subs

    if it fits the silencer might not be as effective as its bored for a 22 and would allow some gases to with the bullet. It would still silence the 17 but not as effective as a dedicated 17 silencer.

    The SAK mod only comes in 22 size but will reduce the noise on your rifle for you. Not as much as it will the 22 lr but that's ' cos of the sonic crack
