    Hi

I was wondering if you could help me, i woke up yesterday to find my heating wasnt working. The boiler (Mynute 10se) was only serviced about two months ago and the pressure was about two bar. After checking the main fuse board i next checked the 24 hour control clock and i noticed the light was not coming on at all. I replaced the fuse this morning and the light came on, but the boiler is still not firing up, are the two issues linked or could it still be something with the boiler ? Do i need to do a manual ignition of the boiler ?

Any help you can give me is really appreciated as its very cold !

    Gary

Edit: The boiler itself does now seem to be clicking on when i switch it on at the clock where as it wasn't yesterday but there is no pilot light and nothing else seems to be happening

Did you try pressing the reset button on the lower left of the control panel? The user manual is here and the installation manual here.

About the only thing you can do yourself is top up the water pressure if it's low. Normal range when cold is around 1.0 to 1.5 bar. It should increase when hot but not to much more than 2 to 2.5 bar max.

There are several safety interlocks which may prevent the boiler from firing, but trouble shooting them is a job for an RGI. There may also be a component failure in the boiler.

Mind if I butt in? Having the same problem since Christmas Eve. Checked the outlet pipe and yes it was full of frost, so cleared that. But still there is no pilot light. Have tried hit the reset button, but not convinced its even attached to anything, there is no click or anything when I push it in. Have turned the electric timer to off and the min-max button on the boiler to off and then both back on. The only other thing I can think of is the fuse just above the electric timer. I have checked the pressure and it's just about 1bar. How do I top this up, or is it even necessary giving that Pete you said it's normally 1-1.5 when hot. Any help appreciated as rocks are well and truly frozen off. btw, general water was gone for about 24 hrs but back now. EDIT its a Saunier Duval xeon, approx 10 yrs old
