Android And Launchers And Sense ui 2.2 ?

Installed Cyanogenmod 2.2 so far its running good and no problems. Best thing about it the charge on my phone is lasting 3 days wow Im in shock with this I might just stick with it cause of this. My question do different launchers affect the phone ifself aka the battery the menu and all that ? Cause Im loving the cyan…

Cause Im loving the cyan launcher I do miss the sense ui launcher.

Did the htc hero ever get the offical 2.2 with sense ui ?

Yes. Getting rid of Sense does wonders for battery life. Install Launcher Pro and Beautiful Widgets and you will have no need for Sense again. BW is needed to replace the big Sense clock widget.
