How active are you? Do you exercise? That stuff just sits in your fat cells so you can detox yourself pretty quickly by exercising. If you've been exercising regularly there's little to no chance of it being in your system after one week, so if it's been a month you're grand.

It takes a bit longer than a week I think. My brother was told the exact same thing you just said and to do lots and lots of exercise. He was flat out in the gym for about 2 weeks before it finally shifted.

Worried_gal I think you better get exercising...... and fast :P

It really depends on your metabolism on how much you took.

The coke will leave the system quicker than a joint, Cocaine should be gone completely after 30 days, hash takes 6 weeks or more to leave, up to 3 months if a very heavy user.

Advice like that is a bit irrelevant after the fact. Mike, you're around long enough to know that unhelpful posts can earn you a an infraction or ban in PI, but in case you're in doubt I suggest you re-read the charter.

Or is there anything i can do to help me pass?

    Almost certainly not.

Depending on the test, you will either be found out, or not. If you stall taking the test they may assume the worst (they are entitled to make such an assumption) and probably withdraw the offer of employment anyway.

Take the test, and see how it unfolds.

I know the horse has bolted, and you are where you are, but I hope you now realise the stupidity of your actions? Leaving aside the health issues for yourself, in the current economic environment employers are extremely fussy about who they employ, and a drug-user is considered too high a risk for any job. If you pass this test, your employer may stipulate that a further test (usually random, no advance warning) is required, so even if you pass the initial test you may be sacked should you have cocaine in your system at a later date.

I hope you wise up, and do not resort to this sort of action in the future. Nothing good will ever come of it.

    Be at peace,

    Z

Your last name would not be Ryan by any chance? It routined his life, wake up!!!, Drugs offer no long term benefits, none, nada, nothing.

By the way if the Job is with your existing employer, and they make you take a drugs test then they can't fire you, they can only make you going to treatment.

Caffeine keeps me feeling great. Surely there is at least some +'s by taking drugs. I am pretty sure an employer can do anything they want provided you slip up in the appropriate manner . Failing a drug test is likely to get you fired/discriminated in some manner. Generally, you want an employer to know as little as possible about you. Anything more than is required WILL be used against you. "Worker RIghts" are basically a sly illusion for the masses.

@OP - if you take the risk and they find "Illegal" drugs, your professional reputation WILL be compromised. Best forget the job if you risk failing the test.

OP , be glad that your prospective employer is doing a urine test only - a few employers like the P.S.N.I. employ a hair sampling test that goes back 3 - 4 months before the sample is taken - no hiding from that !
