    I would just like to thank all involved in the installation of the motorway gantry signs on the M1 and M50. The millions they must have cost was all worth it, as they were invaluable over the bad weather.

    The one on the M50 that said "Danger of possibility of ice" was almost blanked out out by the glare off the white road, but luckily I caught a glimpse of it out the passenger window as I went by sideways.

    Another one said "Caution Snow", at least I think that what it said, as the sign was covered in all this white stuff.

    On both occasions I thank my stars the signs were there to warn me.

    FFS :rolleyes::rolleyes:!

    At least if they put the time and ambient temperature on, they might be of some use, or the fact there was a jack knifed truck ahead
