    Hi,
I hope everyone is having a nice xmas. Just a problem i am having. None of my windows updates have been installing on the laptop in a good few months. I hadnt bothered to do anything about it though. Stupid I know.
I now got a scanner/printer/photocopier for xmas and it wont fully install due to error with microsoft Visual C++ retributable 2005.
Any ideas how i can solve this. Im not very up on computers so any advice welcome.

    thank you in advance.

Download and install the Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable from the Microsoft website. When you've that done try re-installing the drivers again.

Download details: Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package (x86)

With regards to error 8000fff, try the following to see if it solves it for you:

    Windows Update error 8000FFFF
