I got given ROTF Leader Class Optimus Prime.

I hear it's fairly hard to transform.

EDIT: I actually got Hunt for the Decepticons Leader Class Optimus Prime who has hooks instead of swords and some of his paint is supposed to represent battle damage. He also says "We must find the Decepticons." instead of "I am Optimus Prime."

His faceplate is retracted so you can see his mouth too.

To be honest, the battle damage paint isn't great. One side of his head is black and some of the silver paint on his front is a bit messy. That's all I've found so far.

HFTD Payload which is sweet, and PCC Skyburst which is...ok. Both from the otherhalf so i cant really complain or there would be trouble.

It's pretty decent, prior to getting it I wasn't too keen on the robot mode. But when you have it out of the box it stands very well and has good joint movement etc.

Just have to wait a few weeks more for all the G1 Hot Rod/Rodimus a man could want.

I really liked Rodimus when younger, especially the vehicle mode. As a toy, the robot ain't great, but as a vehicle, it's awesome.

The G1 Hot Rod toy was way better than the Rodimus Prime toy.

The Targetmaster Hot Rod re-release can be picked up pretty cheap.

From a non nostalgic point of view he's not well regarded as the robot mode is pretty much the definition of a brick.

The hot rod toy, as Chopper says, is much more warmly regarded.


Anywho there's alot of rodimus love right now, besides the Masterpiece Rodimus there's a third party protector upgrade for the hot rod classic/universe/generations toy which upgrades him significantly to rodimus.

Vange1us did a very in depth and interesting review here. The first is a little prologue he made with the toys (he likes to mess about like this) the second is the review of the protector armour and the third is the 3rd party firebolt (sidearm) targetmaster fans project made to go with it.

I got these too. And the matching underware.

Got some Jazz and Tracks which are great.

Also got Cybertron Megatron.
Lovely Robot,Not a good Vechile.
And Banzaitron which was a nice surprise. and anther addition to the DeceptiTANKS.
So many Tank Alt modes.
