    Some good deals here

I presume, some will have very limited stock.

This appears to be the same LG TV everyone is trying to get rid of. :pac:

Also, prices listed in the catalogue are not always the actual price of the item. Often when you type in the code to search for the item, the price is lower!

Damn, ya beat me to it...

There are a few good deals alright but they need seeking out. Plenty of stufr there, especially tvs that look good deals but arent really considering they are argos own brand stuff..

they a pack of jokers ive been in a few times and they say a certain item is half price but when you go up to the till its a completely different item, eg I recently went in to get a tv wall mounting bracket with tilt function. it was 50 euro down to 13.99 so I drove half hour to my nearest argos to get one and when i get to the till they say the item advertised is slightly different to the one advertised, a flat mount, arse holes the flat mount is of no use to me and they are 13 euro anyway my point is they are false advertising. they did it before with pc speakers black panasonic ones half price from 40 to 20 when i get to the till its these crap little blue ones that are not reduced as 20 is the rrp STOP advertising that a product is reduced if its not the actual product when you get to the till, this is a sly way of getting rid of the stock you cant shift and its conning people

Argos seem to pull any stunt they can get away with.

I often reserve items online and every single time i collect them they're always more expensive than the advertised price, always!

When they released a new catalogue, i tried to buy a bed but had to give up after the twelveth attempt because none of the items were available and they couldn't say when they would be, if ever.

On another occassion when i was shopping there for a washing machine, i checked the manufacturers website and discovered that the item that argos were advertising as A-rated was in fact only a B-rating.

I don't have a lot of confidence in argos anymore.
