Can anyone recommend me a decent DTT aerial, I am living around 10km south of Claremont Cairn with Direct LOS.

I can pretty much get RTE and TV3 and TG4 pretty solid on an old small analouge mini tv.

    Thanks

If you're getting analogue reception of TV3/TG4 already (on an aerial?) you'll get excellent digital reception also. No such thing as a digital aerial. Aerials are different sizes depending on the frequency band they are designed to receive. Saorview is broadcast on UHF, usually in the same band as TV3 and TG4

I bought a one for all aerial in DID impulse buy think it was 30ish euro and picks up the stations clearly (dundrum Dublin)

Honestly, try using a piece of coathanger for it. Or make an aerial from a piece of electrical wire. Just have it facing out a northern window. If the signal breaks up a little bit, the Clermont Carn transmitter is going to substantially increase in strength over the next year or two.

Most of the shop bought aerials like the one-for-alls etc are overpriced and don't even work well for Clermont Carn as those aerials can't be aligned up-down instead of the usual left-right.
