    An interesting little program!!
PC Security Test is a free program for Windows that checks computer security against viruses, spyware and hackers. With a few mouse clicks, users can easily control the efficiency of their protection software (anti-virus programs, spyware scanners and firewalls).

PC Security Test simulates virus, spyware and hacking attacks and monitors the responses of your protection software. Don't worry, no real viruses are involved ! After the tests are complete, PC Securtiy computes a security index and provides tips on improving PC security. [more]

pretty pointless app atm: last update was 06/12/2007.... the website doesnt exactly inspire confidence between a non-funtioning javascript on the menu tabs and a severe lack of any technical information or details on the publishing company.

No idea if its malware ( I doubt it is) but I wouldnt recommend users to download it as the risk far outweighs any benefits to be gained.

Seriously was it worth spamming boards with a thread about a 3 year old program?

I'll give that one a skip (but mainly because I'm running Ubuntu and have a smug sense of security )

FFS they cant even use the F7 key I dont think you could rely on them for a security evaluation. If you need to use software like this, then dont bother you aren't near secure enough to begin with :D

Are you really saying only good software is offered on the internet?
That being the case do we need security at all?:rolleyes:

The vast majority of software on the market isn't "good".

I can assume your original intentions were good, so we won't be too harsh on you. But that program looks borderline worthless.
