    I think I speak on behalf of all the TV mods here when I wish a Merry Christmas to all the TV Forum regulars.. and the same to any lurkers also.

    Here's hoping for a better year of TV in 2011 than the quite frankly lacklustre 2010.

    Highlights for me:
    • A superb second season of 'Misfits', which even managed to surpass the quality of it's first.
    • New US series were largely pretty weak but plenty of returning series remaining strong: Community, Supernatural and Modern Family to name but 3.
    • The end of 'Lost'.. now to rewatch them all! :(
    Christmas Day viewing is pretty sparse bar 'Doctor Who' so horde up on boxsets, and / or try and work through that Sky+ drive with only 7% free (those 20 episodes of 'Lie To Me' aren't gonna watch themselves)! ;)

    Happy Christmas to all the TV forum regulars... a year that saw the end of forum favourites like Lost, Heroes, Numb3rs, 24, Nip/Tuck, Law and Order, FlashForward, Dollhouse and Monk. A year that saw some great new shows pop up, like Nikita, The Event, Raising Hope, Boardwalk Empire, Rubicon, and The Walking Dead. A year that saw the coining of 'DLB' and brand new Reeling In The Years (RTÉ's best show). It also saw the death of well known TV names and faces like John Forsythe, Rue McLanahan, Peter Graves, Tom Bosley, Gary Coleman, James MacArthur, Maury Chaykin, Stephen J Cannell and Robert Culp.

    Since there is feck all good TV over the Christmas period, I hope you all get lots of great boxsets tomorrow!

    I'm sure I speak for basquille, Haddockman and all of the other TV mods when I wish you a happy, peaceful, and good-tv-filled Christmas... Feel free to reminisce about your highlights and lowlights of TV from 2010.... :)

    Happy Christmas all, I trust you've all stocked up on "boxsets" like I have since the UK and Irish channels seem to have just not bothered trying for this year.
