    Hi Folks,
we are halfway through the first fix and as i was going through some details with the plumber this evening he suggested putting a 'steam shower' into our ensuite. the ensuite is big enough and we plan on having a sealed floor to ceiling walk in shower with mosaic tiles on the floor rather than a tray... Anyway I gathered from him that what he needed would be a steam generator and the piping/ kit to put in. When i googled steam shower all I'm getting are the full enclosure with all the trimmings. Really I would love to put this in as the whole family has breathing problems of one sort or other and the doc is always telling us to put the young lad into a steamy bathroom when he gets very bad. Has anybody put a steam generator system in? where did you buy it and was it expensive/worth it?
    Many thanks

    Hey,

Sorry I cant comment on the shower system itself, but to assist tight breathing (sorry I know its off topic!) you can get facial steamers in Argos for 15 quid which I find work wonders.

If it was my house and the kid had a breathing problem I'd go for a standard electric shower and buy a facial steamer - save yourself a fortune!

There - so with the money I've just saved you, any chance you'd buy me a motorbike?! :D

You can buy a humidifier in argos. Does the same thing I assume.
