    Hi all

Just wanted to know on your opinions for an outright winner for the europa cup.
I have backed Ajax at 28/1 each way as it will still be a good pay out even if they reach the final and as their draw is favourable and there is no seeded draws any team over 20;s can be a good bet each way.

I fancied Villareal but the draw has been unkind. You can get them at 18/1. Their playing really well in La Liga. In the next round they play Napoli who are currently 2nd in Seria A. The winners play Leverkusen or Metalist. Leverkusen are 3rd in Bundesliga so there was definately easier draws to be got.

Ajax at 28/1 looks a good price. Their draw is much better so that price should drop big time if they make the Q.Finals.

Porto, PSG and CSKA are the ones to look at IMO.

Porto have one of the best young coaches in the game at their helm and with players like Moutinho, Falcao, Pereira, Hulk, Otamendi and Moutinho, it's a team with a lot of quality.

CSKA, attack wise are terrific. Defensively not so, average at best. But there is always goals in them. My friend(loves Russian footy) backed them before the competition began.

PSG are the dark-horse in this. Highest odds out of the teams mentioned @ 20/1(PP). They hammered Sevilla at their ground and won in Dortmund too. So these are no pushovers. They have impressed me most notably Nene and Hourau.

PSG are currently 29/1 on Betfair.

I reckon cska are a good bet especially as their league starts back in feb and they will be refreshed.

Ah the Moutinho brothers. Quality alright. I agree though, Porto have a good chance.

Looking at the draw however, I think there might be money to be made from Benfica. 33/1 right now and they're playing Stuttgart in the last 32, who are in the relegation zone of the Bundesliga. After that they have the winners of BATE v PSG which looks one of the weaker draws.

If they do get to the 1/4's after those 2 ties, they'll be significantly shorter I reckon.

Zenith have a great squad this year . Ill be expecting big things now .
Napoli are the long range shots worth a punt imo , if they can get past Villareal .... 50 - 50 .

Anyway , I shall be paying close attention to the transfer window this month .

Liverpool got an easy draw , as do Man City .
