What to do with this card?

Now as most of know I have just built a new rig and all is going well so far(knock on wood)...

The card i got for it is a Club 3D Radeon 6870 1024MB.....

this card has no voltage control that I can mess with to get the best out of it so my question is:
Am I better off flogging it off for a card that i can mess with? or keep it as I will be going crossfire in the new year....
so basically how much would I benifit out of crossfire with 2 reference cards compared 2 non reference cards?????

if I push the card any harder Dirt 2 and arma2 say no way!!!!

Have you tried Msi Afterburner to OC it as it lets you tweak the voltage in most cases?

I did and no joy with the voltage unless im missing something somewere...

Rivatuner is another one to try but chances are its the bios on the card that has the voltage locked.

If your going crossfire you wont need to OC the cards anyway.
With two cards you have to keep an eye on temps too as you dont want to go mad with OC'ing them when cooling with air.

doubt it will work, 2nd gen cards rarely have the voltage control of reference cards( which allow ATI/NVIDIA to determine actual clocks at a later stage to increase their yields ) simply because theyre proven to work with the voltages of the previous cards.

Worth a try though but im sure Unwinder has that set to 1 by default now, i cant remember as i always set it to 1 anyway if its not already.
