    Hi Everyone,

    Having been asked previously about the potential impact of chimney balloons on Santa's annual trip to the good boys and girls in Ireland (see here), we are conscious of the fact that Santa will only deliver presents if boys and girls are in bed and safely tucked up.

    As always with ESB Customer Supply we like to engage in a little forward planning, so to make sure you and your little ones are “snug in their beds, While visions of sugar-plums dance in their heads,” we have obtained this top secret link to Norad, which tracks Santa's flight around the world. Also on the site are FAQs like "How Old is Santa?" and "How can he get around the world in 24 hours?"... On the 24th the site will be uploading video feeds from its 'Santa Cams', to enable the big man's journey to be tracked live by satellite and radar across the globe. So kids, be sure to keep an eye on this, and for 'goodness' sake, don't be awake when he comes a-calling. There are also lots of games on site, and interesting stats and information, such as the technical data underpinning the mechanics of Santa's miracle sleigh, a must for all Top Gear types.

    On behalf of everyone in ESB Customer Supply, and particularly the ESB Boardies, we hope all our customers have a happy and peaceful Christmas. Thank you all for all your comments, questions and queries during the year, and we hope to be bigger and better with more answers to your questions (and even more competitions!) next year.

    Our boards' opening hours over the Christmas and New year period are
    9am to 2pm 24/12, and 9am to 5pm 30/12 and 31/12

    And before anyone asks;

    Chris has asked for a Bob the Builder carpentry set, an X factor Annual and “a surprise”. David has asked for Barry Manilow's complete collection, Five Go Off In A Caravan by Enid Blyton and “a surprise”. Aoife, who does all the hard work in the background, has asked for a Malibu Stacey, a Scaleextric set and “a surprise".

    We will have to wait and see if they have been naughty or nice. :D

    Merry Christmas to one and all

    Pat
    (Chief Elf )
