I'm down in Monasterevin on Stephens Day this year and I'll be travelling back up for work the next day. Only problem is I'm in work at 11....so any idea what trains will stop that early in Monasterevin that will get me to Dublin by no later than 9-9.30? There aren't any buses running much before then by the looks of it. I'd just rather not cancel family plans for Stephens Day. And I cant drive down unless the weather eases up a bit :(

Not a hope. Irish Rail practically shuts down over Christmas. The best you can hope for is a train fro Kildare town that will get you into Heuston by 10am.

Wow. Way to be completely wrong with assumptions.

The printed timetables shows that there is a train on Monday 27th at 7:03 and 7:46.
